Community Kettle CIC

A Community Interest Company

We believe that we have the skills and experience to provide shared experiences that will increased quality of life, improve attitudes about different age groups, provide needed service to the community, increase cost savings and create opportunities to share resources, acts as positive public relations/marketing tools. Intergenerational shared sites serve and provide opportunities to children, youth and older adults and act as a mechanism to address of the social implications of an increasingly age-segregated society.

Community Kettle CIC use the simple act of putting the kettle on and sharing an experience together to enhance learning, give opportunities for groups to come together, support families with children from birth upwards, increase elderly inclusion in their local community, decrease social isolation and promote mental wellbeing.

Throughout the year Community Kettle CIC support local events, fundraisers and festivals providing a safe friendly space, refreshment (If permitted) crafts and intergenerational performance and music for people to come together. Supporting local events enables us to enable people to enjoy something together, promote Community Kettle and other local services and enables us to share our work

Our team of passionate, highly trained and experienced professionals place us in a strong place to fulfil our long-term goal of fully inclusive intergenerational centres initially in Cosham, Portsmouth and then in in larger cities on the south coast and so on. Our team consists of six women of different ages and backgrounds, all passionate about bringing people together through a positive experience.
